on my red kettle …

I’ve had an ugly light blue kettle for as long as I can remember so yesterday I treated myself to a new shiny red model. The boiled water that it makes tastes exactly the same, but it sure is a lot prettier than the old kettle. And I know that it is shallow, but pretty things really do make me happy.
