on evil beauty …

Sometimes beautiful things DON’T make me feel good.  Here is an example.  We have copious amounts of gorgeous star jasmine blooming in front of our library right now.  It smells wonderful and, again, it is just gorgeous especially because the jasmine is flanked by red azaleas.  By some wild coincidence, red, black, and white are our school colors … Anyway, as beautiful as the star jasmine is, because of what it does to my allergies, I have no choice but to label it as completely evil.  I get to work with a clear head and clear sinuses and within an hour I’m “Sloppy-nosed Librarian.”

Evil, I tell you … Evil!!!

Benedryl take me away …
