OMFG!!! These "birthers" are a bunch 'o crazies!!! I mean, listen to the anger that this woman expresses and the reaction of the audience. There is a LOT of anger out there, huh? Wow!!!
I guess that people like the woman in red and her supporters in the audience (note that not everybody in the audience seems to support her craziness) feel incredibly threatened and frightened by a world that is changing. When conservatives are in power, the conspiracy theories come from the left (the Bush v. Gore election was stolen) and now that the liberals are driving the conspiracy theories are coming from the right.
NPR, in typically thoughtful fashion, did a great segment on rumors and perception called Ground Up In The Rumor Mill–Great piece!!!
