Even when Democrats are in power in Washington, the politics of Washington piss me off!  I get so frustrated with the way that Democrats in Washington operate that I could scream.

Let me give you an example.  Dubya inherited a National debt of $4,000,000,000,000 at the end of President Clinton's last term (but with a budget surplus, mind you …).  He and the Republicans in Congress then ran the debt up to $9,100,000,000,000 at the end of his term and since the fiscal year runs from October 1st through September 30th with his bailout plan, Dubya and the Republicans effectively committed our nation to entitlements and obligations of $10,900,000,000,000.  Tell me then, how is it that Republicans in Congress can now step up to the mikes and portray themselves as the party of fiscal responsiblity without EVERY DEMOCRAT WHO LIVES AND BREATHES screaming, "YOU EMPERORS HAVE NO CLOTHES AND YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY SO STFU!!! (Some may argue 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 … Okay … For the first term, maybe … For the second one, though … Um … No …).

Come on you stupid Dems!!!  Get with the program!!!  Americans have woefully short memories so it is the responsibility of each of you to do your share and KEEP REMINDING PEOPLE that it was a Republican President and largely a Republican controlled Congress that ran our National debt up to high heaven, left our economy in shambles, gutted our laws and regulations to the point of near complete disfunction, and left our new President with a HUGE FREAKING MESS!!!  After winning two of the closest Presidential elections in history, Dubya ran and country like he had a huge landslide mandate and like he owned the country.  Come on Democrats … Let the Republicans OWN THE MESS THEY'VE CREATED!!!

Let them off the hook? I think not!!!

  1. hah … at this point, dude, if the dems fail we all lose … the kool-aid got sipped by both friggin' parties a LONG time ago … like it or not, even reagan was a keynesian. he stimulated his way out of the economic doldrums with investment in the military industrial complex. even HE admitted that his big mistake was letting the debt get out of hand … there's lots of blame to go around
