Apparently, hundreds (maybe thousands … I can't tell …) of aspiring models got revved into stampede mode after being lined up in the streets of Manhattan for a casting call for America's Next Top Model. The headline inspired visions, of waif-like models stampeding for their lives the unexpected exertion causing half of them to faint because of their starvation induced low blood sugar level, to dance gleefully in my head. As one watches the video, however, you come to realize just how damned frightening it must have been in that crowd.
