Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel—Adapted by Eoin Colfer and Andrew Donkin
Twelve-year-old Artemis Fowl is a genius … and a criminal mastermind. In the rather amazing world created by Eoin Colfer, Artemis plots to re-gain his family’s fortune, but as his plan unfolds, some believe that the successful execution of his plan could mean that civilizations as they are known will topple and that the planet will be “plunged into a cross-species war.”
In the first of what appears to be a series of graphic novel adaptations, Artemis gains possession of The Book. The Book itself, possesses the most important secrets of the world of the Fairies that live deep underground. Written in the old Elvin language, The Book has never before been known to have been possessed or translated by humans. Knowledge from The Book is used by Artemis to gain a handsome ransom in gold from the Fairy world.
Sorry that this review is so poorly written, but I'm just too tired to put more into it …
