A few days ago, I wrote about a beautiful caramel colored kitty that seemed to have adopted me. Well, apprently, kitty has lost her home and is looking for a new one. Everytime I come home, she runs up to me and makes a plea to be taken in and it has become very distressing that I'm not able to adopt her because she really is a sweetie. All of the neighbors have noticed her. She's extremely clean and has been de-clawed so is definately is someone's house kitty that has either been lost or has been abandoned by someone who no longer wanted her. One of the neighbors took a picture of her and created fliers that she posted all over the townhouse complex, but apparently there hasn't been a response of any kind. I finally went ahead and put out calls to any and all of my friends who I thought would even remotely be interested in adopting her, but haven't heard back from any of them yet. I think that there are two pretty decent possibilities for finding her a home among the friends that I called so we'll have to cross our fingers and see. Please think good thoughts so that we'll have some good luck finding either her real home or a good new one! Wish us luck! We can use all the help we can get!!!
Oh, it's so sad when pets adopt us and we aren't able to keep them. I've had that happen too many times, living in the country. The last time I adopted a cat, who adopted us first, it didn't turn out so good. After about 6 months of him NOT leaving and us feeding him (outside), we decided to get him neutered, and of course this meant de-wormed and all of his shots. As soon as he was healed and ready to move around again (about 2 days) he high tailed it out of here! lol I guess he was upset about his manhood being taken away. Oh well, hopefully someone else gave him a good home! Hope your story turns out well! Sending good thoughts your way:)
oh no. that's awful if someone abandoned her..especially after having her de-clawed. that's a bastard move. If she was here, I would take her. Sending good vibes to you and the kitty. She is a super cute cat too!
