Believe it or not, I FINALLY finished the biography of Chairman Mao that I've been reading–all 800 pages of it! All that I can think of to say is, "Thank goodness that the Chairman is now dead!" And in a way, thank goodness I'm done reading the book. It was a bit of slog to get through. I pretty much just skimmed the last fourth of it. I just got back from the local public library and I think that I'm going to dive into the newest Pete Hautman YA book. I think that it'll be a nice change of pace.
